It was really exciting to see God using everyday talents for His glory. David is a builder and he travels to Romania to construct a building. Cally just received her cosmetology license and used her profession to witness to others. Some of these people haven't had a "real" haircut, other than Mommas.
There was also a local dentist who went to give his time fixing teeth. There was one man (25 yrs) who had never brushed his teeth, ever. The dentist extracted 17 of his teeth. ( After hearing that, I now know why I'm not a dentist) Thankful for them, yet thankful I'm not...
There were teachers and occupational therapist who worked in the local orphanages.
Our team brought 50 pounds of burn cream to a local burn hospital. When they arrived, there wasn't an ounce of burn cream in the hospital
At one point, my daughter wasn't around a Romanian translator, so the Lord provided by putting a man from Spain in there path, the Romanian spoke to the Spaniard and he spoke Spanish to my daughter. She then translated in English. He provides!
It was an amazing trip and God was in the center of it...
